City people are commonly found suffering from water retention or bloating after a long day from work, especially at night & mostly focusing at our lower body.
There's a lot of reasons behind on water retention, PMS is the major cause in women, dehydration, lack of exercise, long period of sitting / standing, too much of salt consumption, etc... that's' why we need to improve our diet, so the water retention will be reduce. Includes;
- 8 cups of WATER daily. (Not enough of water, our body can't detox properly, too much of it 2 hrs before our sleep are inadvisable)
- Reduce drinking of coffee, thick tea, any drinks that contain caffeine & replace them with HERBAL TEA.
- Exercise helps our body blood circulations.
- Eat BANANA. (Contains high amount of potassium that eliminate fluid retention) If you're not a banana fan, you choose RAISINS as an alternative.
- Eat LOW FAT YOGURT. (Contains active cultures helps stimulate digestion)
- After a warm bath, MASSAGE your legs with essential oil, then ELEVATE YOUR LEGS by placing a pillow under the knee and ankles when sleeping or lying down.
